Amadeus and Lavender Bubbles

                                                    As I was crying in my car,

The universe conspired to show me

A rainbow and the evening star.

Walking that night, while buried in my pain,

The universe conspired to show me

Moonlit shadows on a desert plain.

Feeling threatened by the loss of all,

The universe conspired to show me

A dog’s joy in a simple rubber ball.

And later, in my bath with Lavender bubbles,

   The universe conspired for Mozart

To make light of all my troubles;

To see that every wrong

Has a dozen rights

That were there for the finding, all along.
